welcome to THV3, a fantasy wild horse RPG that is made of awesome. the horses here may have unnatural mutations, markings, colors, and even accessories! in-character, color prejudices used to run amok and most herds had a color code. some of the former leaders tried to unify everyone -- epic fail -- and most herds disbanded as a result of the chaos and debate over color-coding. now horses are trying to rebuild their herds, coded or not, and regain the unity that valyrn once represented. will your characters help or hurt the effort? will they be bringers of order or of chaos? choose wisely.

spring has come around once again, starting the third year post-revolution.
can't see the c-box? log in!
this month's COTM and TOTM are gonna be delayed for a while -- apologies! there might be a bit of a reform in order, too, since drawing is rather difficult for bonfire at the moment. more to come in an announcement. apologies again!
adoptions. if you've got a character you no longer want to play but don't want to delete, post a link to their profile in this board and see if someone else would like to play them for you!
character logs. if you've got more than one character, it's probably in your best interest to make a character log. look at the examples inside if you're new to the scene.
yabai coast. (2 sub-boards) this coast is where any newcomers wash up who are not valyrn natives. it is not the only coast of valyrn, but the others are usually comprised of cliffs. the water is warm, and about a mile and a half inland there's edible vegetation. the sand color varies depending on location and the land around it, but it's usually white -- sometimes gold. there are several landmarks along this coast, and an island chain rests within reachable distance.
pharisaic desert. (1 sub-board) the pharisaic desert is aptly named; a high, thin mountain chain creates a rain shadow between it and the rest of valyrn, completely isolating it from most rainfall. on the wet side of the mountains, everything is lush and moist. life thrives! on the dry side, however, there are precious few oases, and viable land is only consistent immediately at the base of the mountains. horses who don't know their way around the desert are not likely to survive it.
crazy horse mountains. (3 sub-boards) the biggest mountain range in valyrn, the crazy horse mountains begin near the pharisaic desert and end with the dead volcanic crater territory of arcadia. the slopes range from foothills to sheer rock faces, from warm climates to freezing cold ones. beneath the constant fog of the mountains lies a deep, dark cave system so vast that nobeast has fully explored its depths. near the south lies the place where all foals are born: new hope valley.
lisotera plains. (2 sub-boards) these are the great plains of valyrn -- flat earth and rolling hills blended into one enormous stretch of land. groves of trees can be easily found, usually centering around ponds or streams, but most of the ground is covered by long grasses. from the center of the plains, the edges are invisible, miles away. from the edges, the center is barely visible, but only because it contains a mountain -- the sole change in altitude across the whole of lisotera.
verian wood. (1 sub-board) verian wood is less of a wood and more of a forest. its trees are both deciduous and coniferous, and the land is uneven. in some places it is very flat, but there are hills in other places that some would call small mountains. at the center of the forest is a lake. it may not be the largest in valyrn, but it's definitely not a good idea to see if you can swim across it.
whitewater river. (1 sub-board) whitewater river is a fickle one. near its source in the highest mountains, it is ice-cold and startlingly fast, but as it flows across flatter land, its energy ebbs. there are rapids in certain places that would kill anything caught in them for sure, but other places are more like gentle pools than parts of a river. the largest lake in valyrn feeds off this river, connecting the lisotera plains and verian wood. the whitewater ends its journey in the eastern ocean.
